That is a rough place to be in, and I hope you can get it all sorted out. Homestead Rescue aside, I would try to be realistic. It sounds like you are there alone, and there is only so much that a single person can do. Biting off more than we can chew is not good for the physical and mental health of anyone. Sometimes it is better to set aside some goals in order to work on your physical health, and then circle back around later on.
I get it. I’ve been through worse, though, tbh. My chickens do keep me going and we have a routine. It would be better for everyone, though, if I could get my fencing up and give them their own dedicated outdoor space. As things are now I stay in town and supervise my chickens outside time at local parks. So my free time is tied up with them. I don’t want to keep them inside my van any more than necessary.
I could keep going but why keep putting it off? So I get more workouts? That doesn’t make much sense to me because the sooner I get help for and things situated on my property the sooner I’ll have more time for myself by not needing to attend to my chickens so much 🐓🐓🐓🐓
