i like chewing kudzu leaves and the chewing can go on for quite a while. i formed some of the chaws into cubes and let them air dry. afterwards i noticed they're lightweight and surprisingly strong to the finger. i haven't tested their moisture retaining qualities, but maybe i can bury these around if i get a tall stack.

Wow mate, that's a unique hobby. Pretty hardcore, I'd say.

Beware of too much of a good thing. KDZU has a lot of active compounds from what I've read.

I have to admit, though, that if I chew on a problem long enough -- a solution presents itself. Maybe you're onto something?

Have you tried making paper with the leaves? Those fibres could be useful for something.
