I'd really like to know how hot the bench gets before covering it with a mattress. Is the mattress covering a heated section of cob ?

- this a little off topic, but this looks just like a heavy galvanized Maple Syrup barrel.

Due to new found concerns about lead the industry is switching to stainless,lots of these barrels will be coming to market ,or scraped ! Big AL !
