Hey all:

I've had these show up a number of times over the years under one of my hemlocks. I'm thinking they are chanterelles.
The gills look about right, but they seem to be a bit dainty (they never get much bigger than what's shown) and are very orange.

For what it's worth, I hear they are in season around here right now (southern New England).

Any thoughts?

Looks like red chanterelles!
They are always tiny.
Good find if that's what they are for sure
