I was looking for information on using old skis to form hoops for hoop houses when I found this:

I can't read it all right now, but key to their usefulness is their resistance to termites.
This makes me wonder about skis as stakes for fences and  the sides of garden beds.

We've used old skis and snowboards to make  Adirondack chairs.
