This step by step 3D set of plans serves as a comprehensive guide for constructing a modular rocket heater, detailing the rocket engine component specifically. This innovative design was developed as part of the Low Tech Laboratory initiative and at the 2022 Permaculture technology Jamboree by the instructor Uncle Mud. Please note that the plans for additional modules, such as the kiln and rocket hot tub, are provided separately.

I would like to know how much does the burn chamber weight approximately?

Why aren't there fire ratings on the bricks material and ceramic board? What should it be? In my case, it would be needed to make sure I am able to get the proper material and I think there should be a note about it, because a lot of business seems to sell cheap material that won't last.

Thank you.

I was also wondering, I've seen notches being added at different places in the burn chamber to get better burn. Is that something worth trying to add to this burn chamber?

Is this a 6 inch or 8 inch? Also I'm trying to decide between this and Matt Walker's superhot J core plans. These plans seem to have a taller feed which is nice. Curious if anyone knows any other differences between the two

Hi Aldo,

It's 8 inch! I'm hoping someone else chimes in with more information, I'm not sure of other differences between the two. :)
