Issues making a new thread

I have done everything suggested and am a member, logged in.  I  need to start a new topic ... I clicked new topic, wrote my detailed permaculture property problem & attached pics ... but when I push SUBMIT?  It goes gray for 5 seconds and then blue again ... as if I have never clicked submit!  Over and over, it goes nowhere.  Spent a LOT of time explaining my land issues, hoping for advice ... this is upsetting!

Hi Ryanne, sorry to hear your having an issue posting up a thread. I split your comment to its own thread so we can take a look at your specific issue.

What might of happened is we might of had some server lag, there has been a little bit of that lately. Maybe someone with more insight into the background of the site will have some better answers.

You might copy and paste it to a word processor just as insurance until all is sorted.

If the internet connection isn't solid, this can happen.  

I also had trouble with a chrome update last week and a few sites like permies.  It updated again yesterday and it's working better now.

Ug, a word processor with "improve" things by converting contractions from "can't" to "can?t".  I use a text editor, but i am getting the impression that most people don't know the difference.
