I'm happy to have stumbled upon this forum whilst reading about grape growing and food forrests.

I've been growing about 4 years now, more seriously for 2 including a growing interest in permaculture.
My recent garden is entering it's 3rd year and I haven't tilled since it was first established. I'm very proud of that.

I have an active compost pile, wild flowers, many plants indigenous to Michigan growing, and have plans to further support the ecological growth of my area.

The hardest part is that I do not own the land I'm on and while I have some freedoms with planting, I'm not sure I could turn the whole property into a food Forrest just yet.

I love talking plants, and I'm grateful to be here and for all I'm sure I will learn.

Thank you

Welcome to  Permies!

It sounds like you are going to fit in just fine here. My first ever vegetable garden is just hitting four years now and I got the itch to expand this year.

I hope to see you in future threads.

Welcome Stephanie.

I find it useful to include my region in my profile, it helps communication. Unless you prefer to keep it hidden, which is perfectly valid.
