My favourite thing about permies.com is

How it has managed to remain apolitical. I have never seen a post about politics here and that makes it an Oasis of sanity on the internet. No one talking about Trump or Biden, Trudeau or Pollievre .  No one identifying as a D or R or Liberal or Conservative.  That's the way I like it.  If someone  posted about a political opinion I disagreed with I probably would trust their permaculture points of view less event though the two have no bearing on each other.  Anyways I just wanted to express my gratitude.

My favorite thing is that it's gotten me much more involved in permaculture and this spring I have been applying many of the methods I've read about on here.

My favorite thing is that everyone is so helpful.

I can ask a question and immediately there are dozens of answers.

I also like that everyone is so knowledgeable.

It doesn't matter what the subject is someone has an answer.

I also like the likes/apples that other forums don't have.
