These seed mixes have been fun!

I planted the smallest seeds of this mix in my shade house since I ran out of room in the gardens.

Maybe some one recognizes one or both of them?

Google lens suggests kenaf and swamp rose mallow.

It's possible that both plants are kenaf.

this research gate paper about soil remediation, suggests that the leaves can be lobed to different extent. The growth habit certainly looks pretty similar.

That sure looks like both types of leaves.

Now I'll have to wait until bloom and hope we have enough time in the season for seed.

OK, never heard of kenaf before - so I had to look it up - you have another source of plant fibre!
