Some guy up in Canada has prototyped a single track powered by an electric motor. His youtube video shows it and man do I want one. This would be awesome for moving me and stuff around my permaculture homestead. Low ground pressure and the ability to go through snow. The video says he is looking for someone to manufacture it. DR Power Equipment has it listed as their "pickill" item right now. This is where they try and determine the interest in a new product. You can go to this page and vote for this item.

There is a video of a guy putting tracks on a BCS 2 wheel tractor our on youtube, but I kind of like the electric NARROW version--it will fit normal walking paths.

Hello All,

Several companies have micro track machines from wheelbarrows, and dump beds, to track hoes and bull dozers all in the Micro range of "really small." Our group is even looking at a Micro track crane for working on vintage timber frames.
