Hey folks,
We've been working on a rocket heater design for tiny houses and buildings with wood floor structures and walls. Its a rocket heater core built into a small (not so heavy) cob bench with air channels to keep the wood surfaces around it cool.

Enjoy

Nice build, Chris!
A nice, easy-to-follow video series to document it!

Super cool build. I like the small, piped mass bench. Thank you for sharing all the videos!

Weirdly they don’t show up on your channel for me though.

I can't compliment you enough, Chris , this style can make an RMH possible for anyone to build.  Relatively inexpensive and a straightforward design.... for the layman or even an expert to appreciate

It looks as though most materials were purchased new. Could you give a rough estimate of total price of this iteration?  Did I see two clean outs in the 6 inch piped mass?  Lastly, are you ready to accept a Nobel Prize for Heating in 2026?

Sasparilla and fresh horses for all my men! You will see to it, won't you tiny ad?
