Folding tripod as A frame level

It seems to me that a folding tripod type thing, some made for posters, some for cameras or poster easels, that are easy to find at thrift stores, would make an excellent A frame level.

I'd just leave one leg folded up and use the other two. Third one is there if I want to stand it up.

Great idea!

I admit to using Hubby's camera tripod for a few crazy things...  The problem I have had is that the legs don't lock very well. So if people are hunting for a victim, I would suggest considering how "lockable" the legs really are, and whether or not that can be easily upgraded.

This is a great idea!!!  Also, camera tripods usually come with a built in level.  I have two on hand right now I think in storage.
