Definitely not Cupid

I walked through my garden today thinking about planting.  I stumbled upon a broad head arrow sticking in the ground.  I have no bow hunters as neighbors.   My big farmer neighbor, that my property is keyholed into, has no hunting signs all over his property due to an unpleasant experience a few years ago. I am concerned.

This time of year, it is not a bowhunter.  It is a poacher.  (unless your state has some really late seasons.)  Call the game warden and let him know what you found.  Someone is hunting out of season.  He will help you keep an eye out in the area.

That is a possibility, but that arrow may well be left over from December.

I'm wondering what the maximum distance might be from your garden to the point of origin. Any archers who can shed some light?
