John Green's latest Crash Course: World History is all about those societies which existed outside of traditional civilization and rethinking how we see them. I thought it might be an interesting thing to watch for anyone curious. I personally find the crash course series entertaining and informative, so I suspect others here might as well.
We use crash course as part of our homeschooling--it is like the modern equivalent of schoolhouse rock.
"You must be the change you want to see in the world." "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." --Mahatma Gandhi
"Preach the Gospel always, and if necessary, use words." --Francis of Assisi.
"Family farms work when the whole family works the farm." -- Adam Klaus
i have a few different ideas about a few of the things he says, but overall it was very thought provoking and entertaining to boot.
even if i dont see things exactly like he does in all of his points, the majority of what he says is very important and i appreciate his putting it out there for critical thinkers
Now I am super curious what sports would be like if we allowed drugs and tiny ads.
