I was looking around the Internet to answer a question somebody had asked on permies, and I stumbled across this when I played around with the web address. Sometimes, I like to look at the path taken to get to resources in the address like: www.something.org/a/b/c/d/item ,and I'll delete the item and look at other things like b, c, or d. well this is different. Read between the hills. I thought the important part of the hugel was the top, but this shows trees going between hugels, so that would mean definitely don't make boards around it and make the thing a big rectangle if you want to do that. The cooling and heating balancing effects, the full-swale effect, wow! Always more to learn. Sepp Holzer is an inspiration.
