Pigaerator

Just wondering if anyone had ever tried the Salatin's pigaerator technique with horses? I have a sacrifice lot for the horses with a shelter where I can put a hanging feeder, I think it will work just wondering if anyone knows.

I think it might work. I am getting ready to try it in my winter goats shelter. I am hoping the pigs loosen things up enough so it is easier for me to scoop it up with the front loader on my tractor.
I don't have permanent shelter for the horses. I let them use the trees and what not and I rotate them around even move their round bale feeder around. Heck, I have a round bale feeder that I
have moved around with my goats. As long as it is warm enough I keep the goats out and move the hay around with them so there is less manure build up in the winter shelter. The first place I am
rotating my pastured pigs to is going to be the goat shelter area.

horse manure has more fibrous material etc in it than cow manure. I would think it would work the same or possibly better.
