The only time I ever post out there is on more of a whim. i really should be doing other things. So timing it .... well - of course, you could post out there anything you want. You don't need me!

How does one go about downvoting someone there? I am not so techy I'm afraid.
And what is with the griping about fonts? Unless it's something unreadable that is an impossibly ridiculous waste of time WTF.

So there are several of us here, and we have notified dozens of people on facebook .... and the link is drowning.

See - it's kinda hard. Especially if the bad guy jumps in with a whole bunch of downvotes early on.

So here we are the next day.

Notice how the stalker was 100% effective. A group of us could not change things.

The stalker did a bunch of downvotes at just the right time and we could not reverse that.

So this ends up being something of strategic game.

I submitted maybe eight things yesterday morning - very early. When I thought the stalker was asleep. Two of those things got enough upvotes before the stalker got there that all of the stalkers downvotes did not remove them. And when the stalker made nasty comments, people downvoted the stalkers comments so much that the comments were removed.

I deleted the six that weren't going to show up again. They are just clutter at that point.

I will definitely vote on it at the appropriate time!

Another idea...perhaps get another person you trust to post the link to Reddit for you, that might bypass your stalker.

That's true. If other people post stuff then it probably thwarts my stalker 100%. Because my stalker is just looking at my profile to see what I have posted lately.

Of course, part of the wackiness with reddit is that if you post from an account that doesn't have a lot of experience, the reddit spam filters think you are most likely a spammer. So you post and your stuff doesn't show up. Then you have to ask the moderator of that subreddit to check the spam filter.

A friend contacted me about the earlier part of this thread. his interpretation was that I needed a vacation. I replied that it isn't a vacation I want, but to get the feeling that I am not alone in thinking this stuff is good and getting the information out there.

now that time has passed, i want to express this another way: Suppose 10,000 people like my stuff. And each time i put out a new video, 10,000 people put it on their facebook page, or reddit, or a blog or a mailing list or forum or something in the first 24 hours. That act of forwarding puts the wind in my sails and makes my life far easier. It makes me feel like I can do more. It solves my feeling of drowning in work. It is better than any vacation. It inspires me to travel and get more video footage.

I get the impression that there are thousands of people that would gladly do this. Easily. Piece of cake. Only they never knew that I would like that. So - I am expressing that, yes, I would like that!

Past history is that he usually shows up within the first 10 minutes.

One time I stayed up late and managed to post stuff at 11pm and he didn't get there until early the next morning. I tried that again a few nights back, but he was there in about seven minutes. So I immediately went to bed, got up extra early and managed to get two hours before he came around. That's the one where I posted eight and two of them managed to get high enough before he crushed them.

It has now been an hour - maybe he is out today.

Paul, I posted this both at the Facebook "Take Back Urban Homesteading" group (which has gone from 0-3600+ members in about 4 days) and at the forums at The Survival Podcast which have 7,000 members.

In r/happy he says "Ya, you get paid for it. Pretty much the only reason you post anything." .... I have to wonder, how much do I get paid? Where does the money come from? I don't recall getting paid anything. But his point appears to be absolute, not speculative. So, therefore, it must be fact. I wish he would tell me.

As far as I know, the site admins are too busy with other things. And the forum moderators usually don't want to be drawn into squabbles - it's hard to tell who the bad guy is.
