We are ICOD Action Network! We are a community development and rights organization in Uganda, East Africa. We are running a 16 days
#SaveOurFood campaign. Our aim is to get 780 people in only 16 days to support our
permaculture work by joining
#SaveOurFood campaign.
In Spring of 2010, together with our Chicago based partner organization
Project Focus we created an program that provides free
permaculture and Information Technology training to
local farmers, and serves as a resource for information sharing in areas of need such as
permaculture, education and health.
However, our
permaculture and Information technology projects are almost collapsing because we don’t have
enough funds to keep them running and reach out to thousands of farmers in 2015. That’s why we have chosen crowd funding campaign and opted for a shorter 16 days campaign period. Our aim is to get 780 people in only 16 days to support
#SaveOurFood campaign with at least $1 each and help save our food security from collapsing.
Why is our work important?
We believe that working with communities to grow and share healthy food helps cultivate healthy communities able to sustain themselves in future. We have been doing this since 2010!
We are a grassroots organization driven by staff and hundreds of volunteers who work hard everyday to ensure our work sustainably benefits communities we work with. We must reach out to at least 780 people passionate about permaculture and
sustainable food production and encourage each of them to contribute at least one dollar. When you read this and you can, please make a small contribution through this link

#SaveOurFood campaign. Remember to share

facebook, twitter and blogs
