I'm pretty sure the second pic is a box store type flower. If ya'll know what it might be, I'd appreciate it.

That's a daylily. Many species, if not all, are edible.

The first one looks like an evening primrose (Oenothera).

That's what I came up with too Emilie! Thanks for your help! I'm hoping to catch this guy earlier this weekend. Got there a little late for it that morning.
