When you listen to podcasts or read Paul Weaton's writing There are certain phrases, examples and illustrations that are repeated. I have classified them as Paulism's
Yesterday one came into my head as an incident happened while I was working. It was loud and clear I paul's podcast voice but I don't think Paul ever said it. He probably will after he reads thus post and he has my full permission to make it his own.

"Laws of chance do not seem to apply to everyday life" Why? Because say for example there is a on in ten chance that when you pick up a coil of material a loop will fall down and get wrapped around your foot but in your life it happens every time. Actually it doesn't, You just don't notice the nine times it didn't happen but it happens often enough that it registers as always happening.

Hope you enjoied my Paulism and maby you have one real or imaginary.

Hans,

I just now saw this thread.

While I am told that I say wacky things over and over ... and they seem like normal enough, not-that-interesting things to me,  i have been told by a few that they do cross into the interesting space.  When I recorded that podcast with ben lawson, I think he listed off a dozen or so that he thought was cool - but at this moment, the only one I can remember is "the department of making you sad."

I have read the quote you propose and ....   uh ....  I must be missing the beauty that you see within it.  ??

I am glad that some of my silly thinks have found a home within your noggin.   That sounds like fun.   Surely, everybody has their funny bits that are just as fun.  ??

Don't mess with me you fool! I'm cooking with gas! Here, read this tiny ad:
