Greetings all,

It's my first post and all that, new to the forums.

I am searching for an opportunity to volunteer starting in early March (specifically after the week of the 7th) on an organic farm that applies permaculture techniques to their work. I am located about 20 minutes west of Richmond. Ideally, I would volunteer once or twice a week as I am a student (at least until the end of the semester). I have been interested in permaculture for several years now, having read several permaculture books, but nothing seems to beat experience. I have basic gardening experience for several seasons, but few practiced skills (family loves their lawn and pesticide, preventing me from gardening in most locations).

Some additional information about me: (sort of brainstorming, not sure if any of this is necessary).
-Able-bodied 20/M
-English/Spanish (intermediate level, enough to converse with ease)
-Patient and willing to learn new techniques if I have never done them before.
-Willing to work with animals (really not trying to muck out barns though, received an offer for that already)

Please let me know if anyone has any opportunities or leads and thank you all in advance.
