Anyone use this sort of truss system with timber framed walls?

Hi Tom,

As long as the building is properly designed, these or other trusses will work just fine.

All Blessings,

Why would you want to use those with a Timber Frame?

Part of the beauty of a Timber Frame is the interior of the roof.
They could be made to work, of course, all you would need to do is get the side beams and ridge beam set in place.
You will however miss out on the structural support that the purlins give to the whole structure.
