Hat details for a strawbale home

Hello everyone.

I'm in the design stages of a house with strawbale exterior walls.
It will have a gable roof with corrugated sheetmetal.
The overhangs will be calculated so to have optimal shading/lighting during the relevant parts of the year.

The attic will have natural ventilation, will be uninhabited and will have it's floor insulated with rockwool.

I would like to know what would be my options for:
1. the gable walls
I'm not too happy to extend the strawbale wall in a triangular shape until underneath the roof.

2. the natural ventilation of the attic
From gable to gable using ventilation grills, from ridge to ridge, both, other combinations or something completely different ?

Gable walls:
I saw someone bale their gables, what a pita. I'd just add studs 2'oc to end trusses and sheath it when you sheath your roof. Side in your choice of materials.

Venting gable attic:
Raised heel trusses should allow enough height to vent just under your eaves along the top of the wall between your rafter tails with Rockwool and probably without any duravent. 4" (?) grilles every other bay is standard here. Continous ridge vent.
If you don't raise heel or you rafter off your box beam with a thinner ceiling rafter, or everything doesn't fit in the bays with room for a duravent type channel, then I guess you'll have to gable vent as you won't have enough space to vent at eave. I'm not impressed with strip grills under the metal roof that sit between the sheets of roof decking.
