Here is a video of my hugelkultur garden below, and you can get a lot of good screenshots from that.

Ha Ha, Awesome! That looks very familiar. I made something very close to that a few years back.
I predict you'll have success - I was happy with the results from mine. Yes hard work indeed but, it's nice to have something that looks neat.

Good luck.

TL,DR

I skimmed quickly thru the previous photos just looking for the OP's comments. I didn't see her say enough is enough yet, even though her goal has been met. I,m glad I missed the deadline, as she may have used mine as the bad examples. I really hadn't taken the time to study much of the proper process and considerations. I just did it.

I'm from Wales UK and have recently started creating some Hugelkultur beds on my allotment. It has not been used for last 3-4 years so was really overrun. It has a load of raspberries and blackberries on the site but have not been tended to for ages, so will be pulling them all up, creating Hugelkultur beds and replanting them onto the new beds. I'll post up some pics of what I've already done.

Im writing a january newsletter for the Tofino Community Food Initiative and would love to use some of these photos of HugelKultur beds.  Do I have permission?  thanks so much in advance.
Staff note (Mike Barkley) :

This is an older thread & you might not be able to contact the hugelbed & picture owners for permission. Here's mine & you can use the pix. https://permies.com/t/117821/permaculture-projects/chicken-hugel ; Maybe others will post pix here that you can use.
