From the time I started gardening I've been fascinated by geodomes. I wound up building a regular gable roofed greenhouse but still think geodomes are cool. Attached is the first of many videos of an in depth dome build I watched when it was being built. You'll be able to watch them all at once since that was 3 years ago.

Awesome video, Jeffery.  I too have been obsessed with a Geodesic dome....

Do you have any idea what angle each edge is on the dome?  Meaning, if I wanted to build a 33' on my own, what angle would each triangle be cut on in order to line up?  I know there has to be a formula for it, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

I'm currently building a passive solar greenhouse and still dream about the geodesic dome.

THere is a dome calculator on Desert Domes.
there may be other calculators onlne,

There are folks who sell the Hubs, to which one can attach the struts.

Maybe for a first dome, buy hubs, then build that dome to get you familiar with
the building configuring process.

I've been in touch with folks at ZipTie Domes lately, as they make a hub which allows the greenhouse to be covered with two layers of greenhouse
film for better insulative value.

hope this helps someone's inquiring mind. =)
