Hi Elijah, Most of the plants are well grown in Ukraine, and on the territory from Moscow (as northern border) down to the the Black sea (South of Russia)  

Recently we received quite a few requests from our friends and customers asking about the number of heirlooms seeds in packs presented in ecominded.net shop. To make it clear I want to say that out of Russian generocity we always put PLENTY of seeds in each pack (see the picture). For big beans, there are 10-12 in a pack, for smaller beans, pumpkin seeds etc. there may be 15-20-25 seeds in a pack, for cucumbers - 25-40 seeds, tomatos - 25-50 seeds, and we never count smaller seeds like camomile, carrot, amaranth etc - may be upto 100 - 200 and more in one pack. )))

So I couldn't seem to find a break down of Russian territories, I looked at a few weather maps and I am thinking you are more of a USDA zone 4(-30F or -34C) and 5(-20F or -28.9C) and warmer?

Is that information correct for your zone?

Also could you tell me which Family Estate is in the coldest region?  I am willing to trial plants that could be rated for USDA Zone 3-4 in hopes of finding a variety that will survive, I am thinking my best bet would be plants that are grown in your colder regions.

Yes, basically this is correct. The coldest region where people still have Family Estates is probably Russia's Far East. In ecominded.com we have Far East cucumbers and cedar nuts (Pinus Sibirica) from the Far East.

Lot of fun stuff on your site. I'd never seen green corn before. I'll have to get some of those cedar seeds -- beautiful and useful trees. What a great offer!
