I want lots of yacon plants (I sell plants and everyone wants them because diabetes and people are crazy with weight loss and what else?) so I tried to do yacon cuttings. Of course they won't take as I did it at the onset of winter but I still did it. I found a youtube video and a lady in a warmer climate did exactly that (not at the onset of winter of course): yacon from cuttings
The video doesn't show much, just a normal cutting procedure.
Did someone try that method? How did the plant do later? Did it form tubers in the first year at all?
