Ultrasonic deterrents?

Deers have nibbled the lower branches of our plum trees and rabbits have eaten out all the strawberries and we had a lot of them.

Time to enforce harmony

We bought a few ultrasonic deterrent: Yard Sentinel and eHouse pest deterrent. One thing they are good at is giving headache, these things are loud and I didn't know these humans were so sensitive to ultrasounds.

Trialing this for 15 days but it's hard to detect nibbling so does anyone have any experience with these?

While those work for many, the frequencies are just above the upper range of human hearing normally and that means they can cause several bad reactions in humans.
Headaches, epileptic seizure, and a few other symptomatic reactions can occur.

I can not use sonic generators because of sensitivity in both my wife and myself. Plus we have three LGD's that would not appreciate the use of those.

Fences might not be a feasible solution for you, in which case a subsonic frequency generator might work better in your situation should you find you have recurring symptomatic reactions.

Next you might try motion sensor lights and something that will make a noise.  We have a wind sensor [don't know the name for it] that keep deer away.  It spins to monitor wind speed.
