Summary

Paul and Jocelyn address some intentional community 3.0 issues. Paul agrees with Bill Mollison that in permaculture, we need to replace petroleum with people. Paul's goal is to find a model that will work on other farms. Paul and Jocelyn give some context of the Wheaton labs community, and they talk about why they think people don't want to live in a community. They give some background on the Ant village experiment, and some of the drama that happened there.

Listening to this right now.  Excellent material.  The industry shill/paid troll issue in PDCs really good to know about.  I've seen this in action in other areas, though not PDC courses.  It was only a matter of time though.

I think the good thing is this shows that permaculture is making an impact.  You only face opposition when people start to take you seriously!

Thanks for sharing the issues that have been coming up with the human experimentation.  As a hopeful future permie community creator, I love learning about what issues communities run into, how they handle them and grow from them.
