I get really curious when I encounter someone whose view on a topic is different than my own. I want to ask so many questions, to understand how it looks from their perspective. Our life experiences and where we're standing shape our view of everything. I've seen my own perspectives on so many topics morph over the decades. :)

Sometimes I find we humans seem to be pitted against each other in our views, when there are explanations that might encompass both "sides".

Seems like we all are different from one another.  Different views, different opinions, different culture. ...

When you encounter this do you ask those questions?

I try to enlighten people.

When someone suggests linseed oil, I would post a YT video explaining the potential
fire hazards. The moderators at this topic allowed it.

Yet again at another topic, the same video was wiped out. A different team of moderators.

At yet another post on rust mitigation, I brought up two possibilities nobody
considered - one was laser and another a chemical that could be REUSED.
I wasn't advertising or supporting those products but I cannot figure any reason
for the removal.

I suggested elsewhere that any controversial post could have a veil covering it
and "click to view" but I don't know if that suggestion also survived. It would
co$t money to implement.

I don't have skin in this game. I don't have a dog in this fight.
I only have a few years left so I am not amassing likes or apples
for any purpose.

I am just supporting permaculture.

It is Paul's sandbox and he chooses who is allowed to play.
