National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Wildflowers: Eastern Region by Nat. Aud. Soc.

I give this book 8 out of 10 acorns.

It is pretty easy to use this field guide to identify wildflowers (almost all plants found in the wild that aren't trees).

It is organized by flower color and then by flower shape, which makes it quick and easy to identify most of the time. I can identify most plants as quick as a minute or less with this book, if there aren't many similar looking plants.

It has a pretty durable cover, so that it can be taken into the field if needed for identifying plants.

I wish it had more photos though. Sometimes it will only have pictures of just the flower, and not clear pictures of the leaves or seeds, which can make it difficult to identify if the flowers are very similar. I also wish it had more information about the plant, as what it lists is very basic. However after successfully identifying the plant, it can be researched more in depth through other resources.

Overall it is a good field guide, that most of the time can help provide a quick plant identification, and it has been fun identifying all of the wild plants growing on my property!
