Prepare for Building a Structure - earthworks.wood.prepare PEP BB

This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in earthworks.

For this BB, you will create earthworks for preparing to build a structure!

Minimum Requirements:
- flat where the structure goes
- sloped away from the flat to provide drainage
- possibly ditch on uphill side to move water away from structure

To get certified for this BB, provide proof of the following as pictures or a video (<2 mins):
- equipment and materials at the build site
- partway through the building of the flat, slope, uphill side drainage ditch, and other earthworks
- completed earthworks to prepare a site for building a structure
