This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Dimensional Lumber Woodworking.

As your woodworking skills improve, you might want to work with fancier joints.  Box joints are fairly simple in concept but a bit tricky to get just right.  Let's try making box joints!

Here's one way to do it:

This BB can be combined with other BB projects

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a project using at least 4 box joints
  - Joints are visibly tight - no gaps

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The lumber you're going to use for this project
  - Cutting a joint
  - Completed box joint project showing four tight box joints
