Hi everybody!

I'm Max, from France, in the southern alps, by the italian border.

Chairlift pilot in the winter, roofer and carpenter the rest of the year. I might not fit in the pic here, as i'm a 4x4 nuts. Tho, my toyota is 23yo, and my iveco 4x4 work truck is 22. Both diesels. Fuel hasn't goten soo expensive that i've switched to biodiesel yet. All no frills no electronics machines, and mostly home fixed.

Mind you, i'm intrested in rocket stoves, and terra pretta too. And i've embarked into the building of a sawmill, and hope to fell trees to build my house. Most certainly post and beams.

Im' also intrested in cob homes, looking for rocket mass heaters, i found this on youtube.

Some of it i find lovely.  If only a 9 metres two story workshop with flat above was buildable easily with cob! Don't ask, it's about local regulation in the future artisanal estate of my village.

I also have a city and guilds of guitarmaking, and am considered by my friends and others as mad diyer if not mad scientist.
