This is a review for William Dam Seeds.

I've used seeds from William Dam Seeds for several years now.  Last year most of my garden was grown with seeds from William Dam that I'd had for 3 years and that hadn't been stored entirely properly.  I started several hundred plants and the germination rate was still over 90%.  I wasn't surprised as I've been very happy with their seeds for years.

They sell in small packages, but also provide larger packages at better prices.  They do a lot of mail-order business, though I've always gone to the store.  They've always been helpful and I've found their prices to be better than other stores, especially for trays, fabric, plastic, etc.

They are also recommended by Steve Solomon in his book Gardening When it Counts and they are the seed company that I judge all others by.  I give them a 9.5.

Sadly,  they aren't able to ship seeds to the US.  I looked at the web page and they sound like a great company.

I give this seed source a 10/10. If you are located in Ontario, Canada I highly recommend this company. I have been buying seeds from them for over 11 years. my germination rate is over 90% and I most definitely do not store my seeds properly, nor do I follow the planting instructions. In some cases I have germinated seeds that are over 2-3 years old and have had no issues; plants were strong and productive. Their seedlings are also great if you are located near Hamilton. They sell tools and supplies along with soil and nutrients as well. I love this company. I particularly love their bee and butterfly flower mixes, these are a very thoughtful consideration to our bug allies.

WILLIAM DAM SEEDS ALL THE WAY!
