Quotes showing up as HTML code

I had a quote last week show up as HTML code rather than the quote box the way they normally do.  I used the quote button.  I couldn't see anything wrong with the code.  Now I just saw a post Tyler made that the same thing happened here:  Quote showing HTML code

Is this a glitch or am I just overlooking something?

In Tyler's case, he, maybe accidentally, had selected the "Disable BB Code in this message" option when posting. That disables rendering the quote tag.

Can you please show us a link to the post where it happened to you, so we can look into it?

I tried to find it, but I can't remember which thread I saw it in, sorry.  Maybe I accidentally unchecked that box too.  Thanks for pointing it out to me.
