This thread is about sharing any fruit that you know is effective for fighting cancer in general.

I'll go first: Acai berry has been found to be highly effective for combating cancer by universities that have conducted laboratory testing that have shown acai killing cancer cells in humans.

Do you know any fruit that is good against cancer?

For starters, check out pectin research in articles listed here -

Pectin is an amazing nutrient. One of the best sources is the white inner peel (pith) of citrus fruits - it's 30% pectin. Plus, the pith also contains cancer-fighting flavinoids, such as quercetin along with vitamin c and rutin, which conveniently assists in the uptake of vitamin c.

Loads of info about cancer, pectin and nutritional healing on my (basically neglected) blog.

Here is my post on pectin: http://holisticradioprotection.wordpress.com/2011/08/12/pectin/

Here is a very interesting talk on anti-angiogenic diet, which goes directly to the original question:

I have read (but have since forgotten where) that pawpaws are the most anti-cancer fruit.

See the lengthy (2-pages so far) thread reports of beating cancer in a week with ideas for eating alkaline foods, including fruits that are alkaline, and an interesting tidbit on lemon grass toward to bottom of page one. Lemon grass is an herb, not a fruit, I know, but when cancer is the topic, I figure it's worth a mention!

He was giving me directions and I was powerless to resist. I cannot resist this tiny ad:
