Hi, I've been meaning to join this forum for a while as I have been an absolute advocate of permaculture for about a year now, I hope to learn and share as much as possible and I-m happy to now be part of this fantastic community.

One of the things that makes me push permaculture is the nonsense flying around peoples heads even amidst so much trouble in the world, things like this video...

I couldnt believe what this crazy !@#$ is talking about?! now this is what happens when you go to university to study philosophy... you become an ivory tower morron, but this has just gone too far! I tried to tackle this nonsense on the yt comments, and I was going to start a series of comments but I think I got blocked just from the first one.... yeah thats the way to arrive at truth! always oppose ideas that dont fit yours!

mmm I think you are right, Im sorry about the caps, I guess I just got very annoyed. I don't think she is an attention hore however, not only that atleast, I think these people actually think this, and with reasonable discussion could change their minds.

Gotta love short-sighted, misinformed intellectuals. Sustainability means never cutting down a tree? Did I miss something? Lack of freedom? Egalitarianism? Collectivism? Nature worship?

If she throws enough anti-American labels at it, maybe Congress will ban sustainability. Let's just use all we've got: future generation (she didn't even humanize this with words like children) can figure out what to do when it's all gone.

I for one, won't be listening or reading anything more of hers, unless I need to raise my blood pressure.

Yep, nonsense! She doesn't understand sustainability. Though technological growth might be slower it certainly wouldn't end nor should it. Unfortunately this is the type of thinking that sustains the oil barons and the folks that promote indebtedness because you not only CAN have it now you are ENTITLED to have it now.
