I just received a bunch of Oikos perennial potatoes. Small, but are alleged to overwinter very well in cold climates. I want to plant these in May 2020 in West Virginia. What's the best way to store them over winter so that they do not get moldy, shrivel to nothing, or die. These are hard to get and I really want to keep them alive. As a last resort, I'll grow them inside under lights if I have to just to get them to May. Experienced advice sought!
Just like any other potato, somewhere cool but frost free, their website suggests the fridge! If you want to baby them a bit more, put them into some damp sand and then into a cellar or other frost free but unheated place.
