The permie guy was endearingly goofy, these graphics are more provocative.

Alexander did that. He's the guy that designed the "weeds" tshirt. He sent me a pile of these yesterday.

At the same time, Daniel, the guy that did the hugelkultur and rocket mass heater images, has updated the farmer guy a bit. And, when I look around, the guy that did the lawn care, fleas and DE images also sent in an updated farmer guy. We should get them all in rotation.

I LOVE the new graphics. So much better than the male, white, goofy-looking farmer... what a stereotype! He doesn't speak to the tenor, intent or feeling on this site at all. Didn't add to the 'wa' of the experience. The new graphics are genius. Genius, I tell you! MUAH HAH HAH HAAAAAA!!!

Oh, shoot!! I miss the image of the .... what's goofy about overalls?? I expect to see Paul ... the new heading is quote graphically artsy... but I want Paul!! I'm afraid that disappearing his caricature is the first step to disappearing a lot of him from permies.... he's moving to the land one of these days... I can feel him chomping at the bit. And then we'll only have his ghost here...... darn, and first goes his 'image'.

Oh well, as long as he's happy, and reporting back periodically... with pictures :)

Three cheers for Alexander! The new graphics rock!

Farmers know to never drive a tractor near a honey locust tree. But a tiny ad is okay:
