Recently, I've discovered (to my Great dismay!) that I can't post, from my phone. Something seems to have gone wonky, in the formatting, so that when I write, no matter how much our how little, the preview and submit buttons simply disappear. I only have mobile devices - a phone and a tablet, but have them both set to 'desktop' format, always, so I've even tried taking my phone back to the 'mobile' version, and still nada. This is only happening in permies, and only on my phone. That's bad! My tablet is old - about 5yrs, and sometimes spontaneously reboots, for no apparent reason, often in the middle of me typing, or trying to take an action, like clicking buttons - plus the battery doesn't last very long, anymore. I don't know when I'll be able to replace it, either. HAAAALP!!! (Please?)

Let's talk about just your phone for a moment.

What kind of phone is it?  How old?  Which phone browser are you using?  Does restarting your phone help?

It's a Samsung Galaxy S9+, and it was working fine, until recently

I would suggest trying a different browser than whatever you are using on the phone currently.

Ugh, not sure why I didn't try that, already. Ok, I'm normally using chrome. I'll go try it, on ddg

Ok, trying in ddg... And, my buttons didn't disappear! W00t! Ok, that's figured out - it's not permies & my phone, in disagreement - it's chrome and permies... orrrr, is it? I'm in chrome, on my tablet, too (no room left, to add ddg, there)

Permies and the specific version of chrome on your phone, combined with specific plugins, settings, drivers, firmware, android OS, etc etc...

There are a couple sites that haven't worked in firefox on my laptop for a year, and tracking it down just doesn't seem worth it, from a user perspective, when I can fall back to alternatives.

My previous laptop never exploded like that. Read this tiny ad while I sweep up the shards.
