Me, my wife, and 2 small kids own 10 acres in San Diego county california.  We already have several hundred fruit trees planted and are expanding and planting another 200-400 trees.  We also grow a lot of vegetables.  We don't have animals but if you are into that, you could certainly go for it.  We have a great water supply and great soil and climate.  Things grow very well here.  Our main problem is not enough time to do all the work ourselves.  We have a guest room in a seperate building that also has bathroom, bed, TV, refrigerator etc.  It would be free place to stay if you can help out on the farm for a few hours a day.  You could also plant whatever you wanted for your own projects.  Our farm runs on solar panels and well water and we try to do things sustainably.

If this interests you at all please send me a message.  Thank you!

Sounds like a nice deal. Thanks for the opportunity.

Can you provide a better idea of the location.  Is it near town?

Do you have plans for 'living off' the land?  IF so how?

Location is 10 minutes from town with all the stores etc.  40 minutes from downtown and airport and beaches.

I'm not sure how to answer about living off the land.  We are supplementing our income by selling fruit and plants.  And eating really well.  I have a huge collection of rare plants and hav buyers for plant material and potted plants.  Also demand is higher than supply for the fruit Im producing.  We have already been at it for 5 years and are making money, I just need to ramp it up to try and keep up with demand.

Hope that helps.  Sorry for the short answers, I don't have a PC and am typing on my phone here.  You can email me for more info.

Thank you!
Brad

Hello! I am very interested in your opportunity, if it's still open of course. I'm a 23 year old permie, I've taken Geoff Lawton's online course and then later his IRL course in Jordan to regreen the desert. I've also volunteered on farms from Mexico to the Pacific Northwest to Europe. My specialty is building amazing soil, and now I have a pickup truck to back it up. I currently am running a worm farm, so if I come work with you I would love to bring them and start that as a project. I'm full of ideas
