We have 4.6 acres near Valle, AZ, USA. It is completely off grid living. There are 2 outbuildings and an old motor home. We moved back to Missouri and both have health issues. We purchased the land to stay the summers and winter on BLM in the winter. However, we loved the area so much that we lived here all year round for a little over 3 years.
My husband said we should sell the property but it is kind of hard to do from 1300 miles away. We had solar panels and inverter for power (sold that setup but cabin is wired throughout with box for inverter and box for eight 6-V batteries). We had a small wood stove but sold that, chimney still in place. There is a larger water tank of 130 gal capacity and a 55 gal drum. Water can be hauled from airport water vending at 2 cents per gallon. We used a sawdust/bucket with toilet seat and lid bathroom (moved out of shower when using shower) Used an RV pump and 12 V battery for inside shower and a small pump from outside 55 gal drum into kitchen area. Rough living but we liked it. Very peaceful. I had a small garden fenced off to grow zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes, spinach, green beans, radishes. Caught rainwater from gutters to water garden and wash clothes by hand.
Any suggestions on selling the property would be appreciated. The land is deeded but the out buildings were added later. It is free range cattle land but property could be fenced, we just never did.
If anyone has genuine interest, please let me know and we'll try to figure out pricing, pics, more info, etc. It's a long way to drive to sell if no serious buyer.
