I got a shipment that really should have put in a bigger box, they filled the space with these cool little packing things, they are 1 inch x 3 inch stiff cardboardy stuff that folds up into pretty solid little triangles. They make excellent packing material. And they fascinate me! I need ideas about what to do with them! I LIKE THEM!! But... What to do with them. I'll probably break them down and store them for now...

The first thing that popped into my head was to use them for spacing stacked drying screens, for dehydrating herbs and such, or for the artists, stacking racks for drying paintings. By that same idea, they'd work well for keeping lightweight objects off the ground, to paint, too - like painting terra cotta pots, picture frames, children's furniture, etc...

Or pine cones! I could have had a bunch of pretty colored triangles if they'd have come a month earlier.
