I'm moving to the Champaign-Urbana Illinois area to start a farm job. The job will last from April to October. It won't pay very much and doesn't include on farm housing, so I was hoping to find a living situation somewhere in the area where I could work trade in order to park a camper on someone's farm. I would be happy to work on the property a few hours a week helping with permaculture projects or anything else that needs done. If this interests you or you know someone who could use a little help on their property and would be open to this arrangement, please reach out!

Hannah,

Champaign-Urbana used to have something of a housing shortage and some pretty high rents.  I grew up not terribly far from Champaign & I used to work there (briefly). Perhaps you could find something in an outlying communities?  Mahomet is not far away.

I wish you luck,

Eric
