What are some of the simplest soil bacteria to culture and grow on your own? I know compost has microbes etc, but is there a way to culture the various soil probiotics. I would like to do this not only to amend the soil in my container garden but also to add to soap! I hear a lot of people talking about how there is too much antibacterial soap in public places and they are thinking of carrying their own soap with them. So I would like to find a way to add soil probiotics to my hand made soap. I think I would have to add it after trace when it is cooled down a bit so it does not kill the probiotics.
Please list the best soil probiotics that you can think of. Please share how to make your own culture at home! Or if all else fails and it is too challenging any suggestions for sourcing beneficial soil bacteria to experiment with?
