I am looking for a design for a Coyote proof gate.  I am putting in some paddocks away from the house.  How tall do they need to be?  For that matter, how tall should the fence be?  The paddocks, at various times, will contain Nigerian Dwarf Goats and Kunekunes.

I think woven wire fence, the tallest manufactured will be a good defense, and a section of this fence tied to any gate will work also.

Coyotes can climb, or take the time to dig under, and may I suggest adding a donkey to the herd of goats and pigs. Donkey will graze and be content and not dependent on a human providing food like a guardian dog would be, all the while protecting the animals. Donkeys can and will kill coyotes and most threats. Maybe not bears, but most threats...

Put a strand of 4 barb barbed wire on the ground on the outside of the fence. That helps prevent digging under.
