Hello all,

My wife and I will be moving to the Ft Wayne area, most likley next year, and looking to start a homestead. Our reasons and vision are myriad and I won't waste too much time explaining it; suffice to say that having a network of fellow homesteaders to plug into will be important to us, and I am eager to see if there are any fellow homesteaders already in this area, or looking to go there soon? I would love to have some folks to build a connection with so I can potentially visit and learn from them, and establish a connection that I hope we might be able to build on afterwards; trading goods and labor, etc.

Anyone in the area? And while I'm at it, any tips for whats grows well in the area?

Months have gone by, Nikolai!

Hi from Wabash. I wouldn't call myself a homesteader, but if this 3/4 of an acre in town produces like I hope, I just might have to.
