farmers market questions

there is a famers market in ft. smith that I would like to try and sell my soap at. how does one typically become a vendor at one of these? just show up? pay a fee? what should I expect and what should I know?

Visit the market and ask a vendor who to contact.  Sometimes the people who make the decisions stay behind the scenes, sometimes they're selling there.

I understand sometimes there is a waiting list, and sometimes they have single-day or single weekend openings that you can jump in and fill (perfect for you with some warning).  It depends on how they're run.  There probably aren't two alike in how they're operated.
